From breastfeeding to food introduction we will discuss the unique nutritional needs of your baby (and you) during this time.  We will track the nutritional needs of your baby from birth to 18 months.  Participants will be provided with a food introduction timeline that they can use as a guide for the first 18 months.

This course is intended for anyone who wants to understand the nutritional needs for toddlers (from 18 months, plus).  We will cover the basics of nutrition for young children; what they need at this stage, and what foods will provide them with the brain and body fuels they require for optimal growth and development.  This class will include discussion and plenty of ideas for feeding picky eaters a variety of foods.

Nutrition for New Moms — new dates coming soon

Everyone knows that you should be eating better when you are pregnant, but what about once you have had your baby?

This course will cover: 

  • the basics of nourishing yourself during this busy and often tiring time 
  • the nutritional needs that are unique to a new mom 
  • breastfeeding nutrition and how to make sure you are not operating at a deficit  
  • nutrition for the new mom to achieve optimal energy and vitality 
  • nutrient-dense foods and how to realistically incorporate wholesome, energizing foods into your diet 

This course is intended for anyone with small children who is breastfeeding, looking to improve their energy levels, or start an exercise program after having a baby.
